What is Sefai?
Sefai is a fictional entity (the first soul, or ‘all-soul’) that plays an underlying role in my writing. In Spectral, it’s spelled cephai—I kind of explain why here—and was the original title for my work-in-progress, Astral.
Sefai, as the book series, focuses on reincarnation and the characters’ ability to interact with their past and future selves through this ‘sefai.’ The same ability allows them to bridge their timelines, or worlds, through what’s known as the soul realm, inner realm, or Aiur. I’ve been working on a lot of notes about sefai and how it all works, so if you’re interested, you can read more about it under the ‘worldbuilding’ and ‘notes’ tags.
Why aren’t you writing?
I’m trying. I don’t know what else to say. I have no answers. Don’t hate me.
